I’ve used the support of the Messages from Your Angels card deck to bring you some angel guidance for this week.


I am the angel of Families. A happy change or addition is coming to your family.

At this time of the year, many of us are getting ready for family gatherings and celebrations, if not physically, at least energetically. This isn’t a joyous occasion for many. Old family disagreements and disharmony can be reignited or can keep us away from family gatherings. The pain of disappointment, loneliness, sadness, anger and fear that lives in our heart, rises up and reminds us of its presence.

If you’re noticing this (the effect might be subconscious and subtle), acknowledge your pain and your fears and feel whatever you’re feeling, without judgement of yourself or others. Be compassionate and gentle with yourself and have compassion for others. Understanding your pain on a deeper level, allows you to communicate your needs. Challenges between family members stimulate discussion, and the truth found in the discussion is healing in itself. Allow yourself to feel vulnerable in standing in your authenticity. When you understand the origin of your pain without judging it, and you’re willing to feel it without resistance, you are able to stand in your power.

Connect with your spiritual family, knowing you are loved and supported. Call on your angels for support and healing around family situations.

If you’ve been asking for healing around a family situation, the angels have heard you and are preparing you for change. Be open to noticing changes in relationships and attitudes, and keep your vibration high and charged with love.



Have faith and hope because there is something positive and new on the horizon that you can’t yet see.

Trust that you are divinely guided and supported in your life right now, and always. Although it’s felt like hard work recently, don’t give up, you are making progress, you are moving in the right direction. Keep moving and trusting your inner guidance and the messages the angels and your guides are leaving for you. Notice the messages – repetitive songs or numbers, ideas or songs that pop into your head, dreams, words you see and hear. Everything is a message. If you notice something, there’s a message in it for you. Ask yourself what the message means to you.

Stay positive, keep your vibration high, keeping moving forward. You’ve planted seeds of desire and they are starting to break through the surface and sprout. Keep nurturing your dreams, as you would feed and nourish a sprouting plant. Talk to your plant, send it love, see it as a big lush fully grown plant. The more you can feel yourself living in your dream, the quicker it will manifest in reality. Everything is created twice – first in the non-physical realm of thought and vision and feeling, then in the physical realm of manifestation. Have faith and trust that what you desire is on its way. Keep your energy frequency high, and your consistent thoughts positive, and be open to receiving and welcoming a new reality.



Time-out! You’ve been so busy taking care of everyone else’s needs, but now it’s time to stop and take care of yourself.

This can be a crazy time of year. People rushing to buy gifts for Christmas, preparing for holidays, overspending and the stress that comes with that, more social occasions often associated with overindulging in food and/or alcohol, and a general push and rush and increased stress. I noticed a few weeks ago, how the energies were quickening and that makes me want to hide at home away from the crowds and really nurture myself. As an empath, I struggle with the energies at this time of the year and I know I need to be extra gentle with myself and protect my energy and recharge more than usual.

Have you been busy taking care of others lately and neglecting your own self-care? Have you been pushing yourself to get more and more done? Have you been honouring your energy?

When you give, give, give and push, push, push, you drain your energy and it gets unbalanced. When you’re rushing around and pushing to get things done, your energy gets more Yang, and we need a balance of Yin and Yang, of the masculine and the feminine energies (irrespective of your gender). Take time out and recharge, revitalise and rebalance. If your energy is more Yang (masculine, outward moving, pushing, contracting energy) because you’ve been rushing and busy, rebalance with introducing more Yin energy (feminine, receptive, expansive, passive energy). You can do this by taking time out, spend time in a quiet environment, listen to relaxing background music. Spending time in nature where the energies are in balance, such as a park or beside gentle flowing water can help you recharge and rebalance too. Also be aware of what energy is in your home. Is it balanced and flowing? Or is there a lot of loud noise, clutter or stagnant energy? Living with balanced energies in our life, in our environment and in our body and knowing how to rebalance supports good health.
